A fan of statistics and crafting has asked if it was okay to create her own plushie to give to a professor. I said yes, but she had to send me pictures!
Well, she did it and here they are:
I enjoy the super smiley face.
I also like the little z in a heart. I love the standard normal distribution too!
How cute! Thanks for sharing!

Nature by Numbers
Nature by Numbers is a short video displaying various mathematics properties in nature. It shows the Fibonacci numbers and spiral, the Golden Ratio, and Voronoi tessellations.
The movie's website, Nature by Numbers, has a lot more information about the theory behind the different mathematical ideas shown during the video.
It's really amazing how much mathematics we can see in everyday life, without even really realizing it.

Another Quilt to Distract Me
Last time my excuse for not doing much for my Etsy shop was because I was making a quilt for my niece-to-come.
This time around I don't need to use the quilt I'm making as an excuse. I've managed to not only work on a quilt for my little-one-on-the-way, but I've been making new products.

Clockwise from the top left we have:
- a nerdy baby burp cloth - embroidered with a normal distribution
- pi pencil pouch - made it in time for pi day (which was yesterday)
- choose your weapon. pencil pouch - a surprisingly good seller so far!
- pi coffee cozy - which marvelously matched the pencil pouch

Peg Board
For my birthday (which was in October), my super husband bought me some pegs for my peg board. But, the peg board was not something I had, yet.
The last weekend of February, we finally bought the things we needed and hung me some peg board so I could use my new pegs and so I could be better organized.
Welcome to my craft room useful peg board! I'm glad to have the join the ranks of plastic tubs in closet, home-made book case, and old dining room table.
